The best of John Galliano's final season at John Galliano
the hat: timeless and oversized in a way where it feels like a combination of multiple styles in history however unique on its own in todays fashion. Fantastic. |
the shoes: came in beige and steel, but the steel looks like a burbury bag in its edgy, metallic and bold... like the guggenheim. |
dress on the left will definitely be seen on the red carpet, so beautiful. Coat on the right has such a beautiful texture with the horizontal lines; the whole coat looks like cream. |
as always Galliano shows dresses which don't necessarily follow recent times' trendy silhouettes (for example the mini dress with bold shoulders lasted about two years yet galliano didn't touch that area); this dress reminds me of the carousel dress in 2005 by Alexander McQueen that Sienna Miller wore- feminine, soft, cool and effortless. |
amazing, old school as always, detailing and drop as it falls over the models body. Galliano's clothes put my mind into fantasy mode, this dress is what I imagine Mortitia Adams would wears in my ideal world. I love Mortitia. |
a different rendition of the biker jacket; futuristic and an exaggerated silhouette. The contrast to the models fine and soft dress is perfect for the show. |
if Isabel Marant had creative input on the show this would be hers; parisian, chic, preeminent street-style (or at least something to hope for in the near future) |
